In a world of constantly shifting media preferences and rapidly declining attention spans, motion graphics are an excellent solution to grab and hold an audience. Here you will see a few samples of simple GIFs I’ve created to used on social media or in email headers to give an extra element of fun! I created these using a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.

Full Cart is a program of Feeding Children Everywhere that focuses on distributing healthy, easy-to-prepare meals to children and families all over the United States. Through the years as Full Cart has grown and adapted, many style changes have been necessary to ensure consistent and aesthetic communication. Here you will see some examples of Full Cart assets I have created throughout several style changes and rebrands.

Full Cart is America’s Online Food Bank and when exploring main reasons why a consumer would choose Full Cart I happened upon the idea for this Ad Campaign called “Skip the Trip”. This campaign focused on how skipping a trip to the grocery store and having fresh, free groceries in a time of need could bring value to the lives of our audience.

Angelic Flowers is a family owned flower shop located in Central Florida. When I arrive at Angelic, there was a need for more cohesive branding that spoke to the customer base and broadcasted a singular identity. I created a logo and brand identity for Angelic that worked with their current client base and inventory offerings. I was also able to integrate a new point-of-sale system that linked with their new website and created a much smoother workflow.

Who doesn’t love a vintage travel themed wedding? Working with Taylor and Alexandria on custom designs for their formal wedding was an absolute blast. From hand lettering their place cards to designing their seating chart and table numbers, I thoroughly enjoyed this break from my normal set of designs.

The 2017 UCF Abroad Pin Collection began as a campaign to raise awareness about studying abroad. Students were encouraged to attend UCF Abroad events across campus from informational sessions to workshops to get pins, adding to their collections. The first student to collect all 55 designs was awarded a $1000 scholarship toward any study abroad program of their choosing.

We started small by handing out pins near the food trucks on campus and encouraging students to follow us on social media and share pictures of their pins. Eventually, many dedicated students were seen wearing their pins around campus and trading with each other to broaden their collections. Finally, after a several month long campaign that lasted through our 2017 Study Abroad Fair, a winner was crowned. Overall, the engagement on our social media, especially Facebook, skyrocketed during this campaign and there is hope to continue this as an annual event.

Retro design has always been a big influencer in my work, so to be able to create these retro travel posters was a dream come true for me. Each design was created with screen printing in mind and the corresponding colors represent aspects from each area. I chose places that were meaningful to me in my life as I believe a little piece of the designer is always present in anything he or she creates.

Quick draw is an app prototype design built by designers for designers. In this app, creatives can participate in daily sketching challenges to hone their skills, view the work of other creatives, and share work of their own. The aim of Quick Draw is to encourage daily practice to sharpen skills that can often fall by the wayside in the hustle of bustle of designers’ lives.

This design won a 3rd place NIRSA Creative Excellence Award in the category of Comprehensive Brochure & Facility Publication (2017)

The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center Guidebook is just as the name suggests- a comprehensive guide to all student activities in and around the gym for the 2016-2017 school year. I was honored to have the opportunity to take the role of lead designer on this project. For several months I worked with the leaders of each program area to fine tune their schedules and procure all necessary information that would find its way into out guide. I worked with the print shop on campus to eventually print 10,000 copies for distribution throughout the school year.

The front cover features a die-cut photo of the climbing tower which folds out to reveal the hour of operations for the Rec Center. The back pages of the guide which contain schedules for each program area are detachable via perforation for ease of access - perfect to hang on a dorm wall.

The Outdoor Adventure Series is a collection of poster advertisements created for the University of Central Florida’s Recreation and Wellness Center in order to promote various adventure trips during the school year. Inspired by vintage travel posters (which have a special place in my designers heart), these posters were a fun experiment in the retro-esque style. Highly illustrative in nature, this series inspired me to get in touch with my sketchy self and really explore the nuances of illustrative representation.
